Trick-or-Treat Tips

Trick or Treat

It is crazy how quickly this year seems to be going. The season of fall is here and along with it comes some festive activities. It is that time again when witches and goblins roam the streets of Brevard County asking for treats. Yes, that is a long-winded way of saying it is once again Halloween, and at Cassels Garage we would like to wish you and yours the spookiest of holidays. We, just like you, will be enjoying our share of candy this Halloween season.

While we wish you nothing but treats this Hallows Eve, we know that there is a possibility for some tricks to arise. Cassels Garage has been a family owned and operated garage since 1966, so we understand the importance of keeping your family safe. So, we thought we would share some quick Halloween safety tips to ensure that all your little trick-or-treaters stay safe from unwanted ghosts and vampires this year.

  • Trick-or-Treat Tip 1: Keep a lookout. This may seem like a no-brainer for most parents, but you can never be too careful when it comes to tick-or-treater safety. Stick to neighborhoods that you know are safe and that you are comfortable in. And if you want to venture out, just be aware of your surroundings.
  • Trick-or-Treat Tip 2: Escort your little pumpkin to the door. It is always a good idea to go up to the door with your little one. It is also a great way to meet the other adults in your neighborhood and introduce yourself to them. This is both a safe and friendly tip that can come in handy on all Hallows Eve.
  • Trick-or-Treat Tip 3: Triple check your little Frankenstein’s candy. Pre-packaged treats are the winners when it comes to Halloween goodies. Unless you know the person making homemade treats, try sticking to the pre-sealed treats.
  • Trick-or-Treat Tip 4: Get your oil changed and tires rotated before you hit the spooky streets of Brevard County. We want your Halloween to go as smoothly as possible, and car problems are the last things you need on this holiday. It’s best to be prepared by making sure your car is well-maintained and ready to go.

Cassels Garage is here for all your trick-or-treating escort needs. You would hate to have any car trouble on the night when little witches and characters from various Disney movies and more are running amuck, amuck, amuck (if you understood that Hocus Pocus reference, we commend you).

Come see us at Cassels Garage today to get your vehicle all tuned up for this spookiest night of 2017. We are a full services garage, here to help with any and all of your vehicle’s needs.
